Just Us Girls Challenge #537 - Photo Inspiration Week

For this photo, I saw some water coloring.  So, that's just what I did.

I started by smooshing some ink on my craft mat, and running the water color paper through it.  Once dried, I used the direct to paper with ink technique, after using a dry embossing folder.  I was happy with the pop of leaves.

Meanwhile, to keep the coffee cup in the same "look", I smooshed more ink and ran another panel through the ink, and cut out the cup using CAS-ual Fridays To Go Cup Fri-Die.  My coffee die is from STAMPlorations [retired], and finally the sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays Coffee Talk.  I am also entering this into the Spring Coffee Lovers Hop.

Your turn.  Come on over to the Just Us Girls Challenge #537, and play along.  Show us how the photo inspires you!

Thanks for stopping by~

Like the layers of die cuts you've used to create this card, Vicki. The colors work well together with your smooshing. tfs-stay well.

Smooshing is one of my favorite techniques and it worked perfectly for you to bring out the colors in the photo, Vicki.
