It's my turn to Host this week's challenge. I see pretty cards ahead with these Spring time colors.
I created a card that was not at all what I planned in my mind. That said, I'm still ok with the end result.
I started out with a paper color paper leaf cut out. I [think] I got this from Loll Thompson like forever ago, and I am finally using it. I spread some distress ink, sprayed it with water, and laid the die cut into it. I love how it turned out!
I used some washi tape [hint of blue stripes] and cut out a circle. My Hello is from Technique Tuesday, that I double layered with a hint of black card stock for a shadow effect.
Your turn! I hope you come on over to the Just Us Girls Challenge #528 and play along. I'm looking forward to seeing these colors in action.
Thanks for stopping by~

Love your card, gave me inspiration for something I needed to make! Your cards always inspire me!
I like the way you've added pattern to the circle. This is fantastic!
This is very inspiring Vicki. I love the background circle, with its stripes of pattern and I adore the variegated look of your die cut leaf. Vicky x
I like it when cards take on their own direction! Love it!
Such an unusual but fabulous layout you created Vicki. Great imagination and so clever.
Great use of that washi tape! Great idea that I have to remember! Lovely card!
I love that big, beautiful leaf! Awesome idea using the washi tape, too.
So simple yet bold and colorful, Vicki.
