STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday

I am participating in the Stencil Sundays with ARTplorations, a division of STAMPlorations.  While you can see the amazing ARTplorations stencils Sheri offers HERE, today I am using 2 of them.

For my first card, I went with a pretty stencil, Peony No. 2. I used my Geli Plate with yellow acrylic paint.

For this first card, I laid down the stencil onto a piece of cardstock that was on the plate, and spread the paint over the top.  You get a lovely full version of the fun flower.  I added on a sentiment from the Beach Vibes stamp set.

Not wanting to waste the paint, I took the painted stencil, and laid it over another panel of cardstock and got this second lovely image too.

I love using my geli plate with stencils.  Getting 2 cards with one technique works for me.  I used a different sentiment from the Beach Vibes stamp set.

For my second stencil, I used the gorgeous Rose Duet Stencil.

I used the standard, sponging on ink through the stencil, and added the sentiment using A Gem stamp.  I added on a few sequins, and my 2nd card is complete.
