CAS-ual Fridays March Release Hop

Today is the official March Release Hop for CAS-ual Fridays.  The team members are making at least 3 sample cards each, showcasing the new sets. If you are hopping, you should be coming from Jeanne Jachna's blog.


Here are mine:

For this card, I used Rad.  I love the subway graphic look when you have a lot of words, and this set does.  I inked sprayed my background first, let it dry completely, then using my MISTI, I laid out out the words and repeatedly stamped.  Because the background was a little darker then expected, I ended up embossing the words so you could see them.  The happy word you see is from the Star of David set that is in the same font as the new one, Rad.  I do love sets that are compatible. :)

For my 2nd card, I used the new Mazel Tav, along with an older set, Partridge in a Pear Tree.  I was quite happy with the tree and the sentiment.  I think they go together -- a tree grows, as does the child. :) 

For my last card, I used Floating.  A fun, flowered hot air balloon.  I used my Ultra Fine Sharpies to color in the flowers, and cut a cloud template for sponging my clouds.
