I'm Baaaaaack!

Wow, life has been really crazy the last couple of weeks -- my dog having a life saving surgery -- twice!  DH having to have a 2nd back surgery from spinal leakage.  Oyie Vey - this Christmas pretty much won't be happening.  Both are in recouping periods over the next 2-3 weeks.  That said, the crafting time has been pretty non existent.

I just needed the distraction of a few challenges to take my mind off all that is going on.  I joined in at Inkspirational Challenge #37; bah-humbug [no problem there], and Can You Case It #100, a sketch.

I am taking this to the Emergency Vet location.  They were AMAZING in treating my little girl and they deserve a heartfelt thank you!  I used ink sprays for my background after stamping with Versamark and clear embossing.  I used STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments and Fond Expressions 2.

  CYCI#100

I went on to play in Tag You're It #37, and since I used a fun new die I got from Simon Says; Calliope Flourish, I am entering this into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; die crazy.

The timing for this tag is perfect, it will go with my 2016 journal!  Isn't this die awesome!  I really like this one a lot.

Sending you hugs and positive vibes that your role as 'nurse' to your poor husband and dog doesn't take too exhausting a toll on you! Attached to that: another round of hugs that both your loved ones experience speedy, complete recoveries! Poor them; poor you! I know you'll do your best to make Christmas as festive as possible. I'm glad you found some 'you' time in your crafting space, as I suspect your abundant creativity was near to bursting! Your first card: perfect thank you for the ER team at the vet clinic, who will absolutely adore it - for its beauty and thoughtfulness - as do I. Your tag: gorgeous! Love green/blue/black and the flourish...so pretty! Thank you for sharing this gem at Tag You're It!
Hugs (and extras)~c
