Heartfelt Creations May Alumni Hop

It's the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop for the month of May.  So.much.fun!

I just love a pop of color on a white card base.  Pretty CAS, but I think it carries a huge POP!

For some added depth, I layered my butterfly 3 times in black.

The Heartfelt supplies I used;

I went on to make another card [with a little tutorial] for you also.

I used the bfly die cuts as a stencil

 Made some colored embossing paste

 Filled in the "stencil" with the spatula

For the last step, I added colored glitter to the wet embossed bfly and let it dry.

Okay, that's it for me.  Now it is your turn to follow along on the hop [leaving comments for that $25 gift certificate from Heartfelt Creations] -- Have fun!

Thanks for stopping by~

What a great idea to use the stencil from the die cuts from your first card! How did you color the embossing paste? Did you put ink on the craft mat and then some embossing paste and just use the spatula to mix it?
