Some Challenges

I love having an open day on my blog -- I get to join in some challenges. :)

I saw the Deconstructed Sketch 191 and loved it.  I was also reallly impressed with the stunning photo inspiration over at Just Add Ink #253.  I am also joining in at Happy Little Stampers; sponging.  I am hoping this is CAS enough - it's clean anyway ;)

I used ARTplorations Shutters Stencil, along with a sentiment from Avery Elle, Brushed.  My butterfly is Spellbinders, and my banners are MFT Die-namics Stax Pierced Fishtail Flags.

Deconstructed Sketch 191

I went on to play in ColorQ 282 and CAS(E) this Sketch 113 -

Even though I went subtle with the colors, I really loved them together.  That, and the fact I love using my older products!  I pulled out my [really] old Brocade Blue stamp pad and it still has ink in it!  I do sometimes wonder why I strayed from SU ink -- I still love it.  I used My Mind's Eye Remember stamp set, along with the smallest MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags.

Okay, I had a fun time today!  Thanks all - great challenges~

Thanks for stopping by~

So excited to see you at Just Add Ink!! Your card is brilliant and just love the design. Your butterfly die is gorgeous and really like how you put the pink solid butterfly behind it, it really makes the detail in the die stand out. And your second card is perfect for both challenges. How amazing that your ink pad still works. I have a few SU pads that I bought second hand and they seem to never run out! Hope you'll come back to Just Add Ink again!
