I used an ornament die from Top Dogs and inlaid it to keep the one layer. Works for me!

Very clever inlaying the die to keep it still one layer....love it.
How clever of you to inlay that die so that the card is still one layer. I really love that die and use mine a lot. We have a little tree and I made ornaments with it. I got a lot of compliments on them too.
