The Male Room #1

We are back this week with The Male Room.  The challenge is new beginning and we are also starting the challenge over at #1.

I used an array of images from Flourishes and Verve - [both sets have been discontinued]  My sentiment is computer generated using Lainie Day font, [free at Dafont].  I started by sponging the edges of my panel working the way into the center, being sure to leave some white.  I then stamped my tree images in gray, and leaves in black. The diagonal strip was stamped with Clearly Besotted, Diagonal Stripes.

You can create any card that inspires a new beginning to you - baby, wedding, whatever strikes your fancy.  Just remember to keep it masculine.  See you over at The Male Room.

Thanks for stopping by~ If you have a question, please leave an email so I can answer you :)

I really like this - the sky you've created with the blended ink is fab! Super stamping and that pop of blue is lovely.

I like everything about this card--the layout, the color combining and the choice of stamps. I really like that stripe of blue and white along the edge as well. Another big thing.... I LOVE the backdrop to this card. Such a clean and crisp look that doesn't take away from the beautiful creations you make.

Magnificent sponging! The background is a perfect backdrop for your stamped trees. The diagonal strip adds a bit of the unexpected - awesome!

Love a good silhouette card and this is good! I'm not so good at sponging myself so I'm always impressed when others do it so beautifully
