I taped the stencil down over my card panel, and sponged on a light green, then, I moved the stencil over a little, and sponged on a darker green for added depth. I love the leaf stencil that Loll sent me! [Thanks mf!]
I am also using one of the super fun new releases from STAMPlorations;
A Girl and Her Shoes. How fun is this set!
[it's on sale..just sayin]

That stencil is awesome! You are a lucky girl to receive it. I love the way you used the 2 shades of green. Love the new stamps, too.
Love the stenciled leaf background. Doing it in two colors was a great idea. It adds a lot of interest and that stamp set is so much fun!
Yep ... just went and added these stamps to my cart ... this shoe-lovin' lady needs them ... love your card.
Wow..WOnderful card I loved the depth you have added to the leave !
OH, what a cute sentiment, Vicki - had me LOL!!!! I love that pair of heels!! (unfortunately I think I'm too old to wear any of those at this stage!!!!! LOL!!! these days I prefer the very flat ones!!! - so much more comfortable!!! Not to say that I'm really old, hey!! - still very young at heart!!!)
Love the clever way you have done your stenciling to add such lovely depth!!! ...and those polka dots ...looks so great against the lovely stenciling and the blue peeking out from underneath!!! I really like this fun card a lot, Vicki!!!!
Have a super weekend!!!
What a neat stencil! Great card design too. Love it!
Love the effect you achieved from shifting the stencil a bit and sponging two different colors! And the stamped image and sentiment are so much fun!
What an adorable card. What woman doesn't like shoes???
I love how you used the stencil to make the background that way. You are so talented to even think of that. I guess I need to see if I have any stencils around and try my hand at that type of background soon too. You are inspiring me!
Double stamping the stencil is genius, Vicki. I love your card and the stamp set :)
LOVE the way you've sponged and shifted the stencil and sponged again. Creates so much visual depth! And, of course, LOVE the bright green paired with your blue panel ... so you! xx
Another fabulous card Vicki. Nice design and bright colours.
Great technique for the stencil, Vicki! Love the colors on this and that new stamp set is awesome!
