A New Challenge!!

I am thrilled to say there is a new challenge site in blogland, and I am on the Team! :)

The challenge this week is RED, [along with being Christmas themed of course].  Besides that, anything goes.
I used a circle stencil and inked away.  My sentiment is from STAMPlorations, Holiday Sketches; Christmas Candles

A couple of advantages to this challenge - one layer cards are fairly easy to make, and even easier to MAIL!  Straight amount of postage for these puppies, and certainly no bulk.

A hint for making the perfect one layer card is the Rule of Thirds.

I made this vellum template to lay on the top of my card to help with the stamp placement.  By using any parts of this template, your card will be balanced.  Upper left or right intersection - lower left or right intersection -  center square -- you get the idea.  This free tool [make one for yourself] is amazing, and has saved my card bases by having correct placement, rather then trying to eye it.

Okay, are you ready to play along?  Pop on over to One Layer Christmas Cards to check out all the fun details, meet the new Team, and get a jump on 2015 Christmas season cards!  [You know it will be here before we can blink! ;)]

Thanks for stopping by~ If you have a question, please leave an email so I can answer you :)
