Pet Sympathy

I got an order in today from Simon Says and unfortunately, I needed it right away.

Our friends had to put down their dog - She was 10 years old, and a great 4 legged kid.  It is so hard when you have to let a "kid" go.  I know this card is a small thing, but I think they will appreciate the gesture.

This Simon Says set was perfect.

Thanks for stopping by~

Oh man putting down a dog is the worst. It's so utterly and completely heart breaking. I'm sure your friend will greatly appreciate you acknowledging their loss. :)

This made me tear up, Vicki. Two years ago, we took Lacey (12-year-old German shepherd) to have her hips checked. She had been having a hard time getting up and walking but, being a German shepherd, was too stoic and kept her pain from us (she never complained or cried). It was one of the worst days of my life. The vet told us she had to be put down because she was in too much pain and she wasn't going to get any better. So that same day, she was gone and I was too numb to cry. The next day when I woke up, I expected to see her. I realized she was gone and that's when it hit me. I cried for weeks and prayed I'd stop hurting. Your friends are incredibly fortunate to have someone like you do a sweet and comforting gesture like this.
