I am the Hostess over at Just Us Girls this week. For Trend Week I chose water coloring. Between you and me, I am not an artist. I tried, really - I trashed what I made. So I went to my back up plan.
Using Inspired By Stamping's Spring Blossoms and Summer Fun, I stamped the flower image with Ranger Archival ink onto water color paper. Using Distress Inks and a brush I water colored ink over the images. Once done, I then spritzed water all over the panel to let the colors blend a little. Now this is my kind of water coloring. I.am.not.an.artist. Just sayin.
So, there are many different styles of water coloring - you can use any one you like. I sure hope you play along over at Just Us Girls #258. I can't wait to see the entries.

Your watercoloring turned out beautiful Vicki! I love how vibrant those colors are. If you ever want to try watercoloring stamps you should check out Dawn Wolslagle's videos. She is the only reason I even tried it. It's so easy :)

Great challenge this week Vicki! Your card is beautiful! Love the added black as well and pulling out the green on the edge was a great touch!
