A Few Challenges

Once again I am joining in with some super fun challenges! One is even brand new starting today!

I am starting with Mixed Media Mojo #1; stamps plus 2 mediums.  I used embossing paste [I colored it with Distress Festive Berries], gems and black embossing powder. I think that is + 2.  I used the sketch from Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday #122 [I left off the blfy - sure hope that's is okay.  It just wouldn't work :)] and finally, The Paper Players #198; wedding card.  I did the sketch in an ATC size, and then centered it on a base.  I used a sentiment from Dare 2B Artzy, Fancy Notes, and PTI, Rosie Posie with Rosie Posie Step 2.  My stencil is Memory Box Flourish.

I had such fun with these challenges.

Now, did you notice my photograph?  Yep, the background is blurry!  Yay it worked! Now, is my photograph to dark?  Please let me know.  Sometimes, I just go card blind and can't tell! Sheesh.

Thanks for stopping by~

Beautiful card, Vicki!!

Hmm, the card looks a bit dark to me. Not sure if it's my monitor, but I looked at photos of your previous cards and they look brighter and sharper. What photo editing software are you using? In Photoshop, you can selectively brighten and sharpen (and even enhance some colors) just the card and make the background even more blurry.

I love this crisp and clean design you created with embossing paste. The colors are so pretty and I love the use of vellum, too. I am still learning to use embossing paste and would love to get similar results. I think I need to practice more. :)

Absolutely love the richness of the damask background and the white space on this card, that evens out the busy focal point. Bellissimo!!
