Fun Challenges

Once again I find myself being pulled toward playing in blogland challenges.  I think besides the fun of creating the cards, I love being able to add badges to my side bar [if I win that is].  Is that over the top addiction or what!

I got some Avery Elle stamps in the other day - my very first set.  Now, I get to play in the exclusive Avery Elle I [heart] U Challenge.  This week is botanicals which goes perfectly with the Petals & Stems stamp set I got!

I water colored the background with stamping on my acrylic block and spritzing it with water.  I then stamped the images with my new MFT Black Licorice hybrid ink pad.  So far, I think this ink works well -- I'll keep you informed after I have used it a little more.  Meanwhile I am also entering this into the Colour Me Challenge.

I went on to play in the Simon Says Monday and Wednesday Challenges.  Monday is "M" - [I used Mowed Grass distressing ink], and Wednesday is die crazy~

My TY is from Technique Tuesday, Fabulous.  I stenciled my background, and water colored and stenciled the TY sentiment background. I used a die cut from Spellbinders Office Supplies, then embossed it with an embossing folder and then sponged that.
