The Male Room - Sci Fi

We have an interesting challenge over at The Male Room for the next couple of weeks;
Sci Fi.  For this challenge I had to think outside the box, as I have no "sci fi" images.  I went to Google search and came up with this awesome inspiration photo:

Here is the card I made:

Using shiny paper, I started just sponging on color, trying to achieve the glowing effect.  Once I got that done, I sprinkled water on it. I used a sentiment from Inspired By Stamping, Arrows.  [I think this sentiment is perfect with my sponging]  I added some stenciling from a Crafter's Workshop stencil and my masculine "sci fi" card is complete.

I am also entering this into Virginia's Challenge, stencil.
