Stamp TV CSS Hop - Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the 2nd Stamp TV CSS Blog Hop.  Tonight's is a color challenge - Red, White and Blue.

Rather then make a July 4th card - I have never sent one of those - ever, I went with a general type of card.

Using GKD's Elegant Florals, I made this card:

My paper is Little Blue Boy that unfortunately, doesn't photograph well. You just have to trust me - it's blue. ;)

I also made a second card.  This one I used GKD Lots of Letters, with a sentiment from All Occasions Tags

Once again, I was inspired by a customers shirt!  [I really need to take photos of my inspiration :)]

Make sure to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, June 25 over at Stamp TV Forum.

Meanwhile, you are going to be hopping over to Lori's Blog.  If you want to see who is participating in tonight's hop, click HERE.

Enjoy~

Thanks for stopping by~

Love both your cardsbut the first one best....and I usually send one or 2 cards for the 4th because I always seem to have at least one blog challenge that I participate in that has patriotic or 4th themes so I have to send it sometime (although I will often send it on flag day or Memorial Day for our Military friends as they seem to appreciate that...)

Great cards. Love the gingham on the first one. Lots of Letters just arrived in my mailbox last week, so I really appreciate the inspiration your second card provided.

I so love your cards. They are so amazingly beautiful. I do send 4th cards to my shutins and I don't have them done yet. Yikes! I need to get with it, but there is so much going on of late. But these look like some inspiration for something I might try. Thanks!

What wonderful red, white and blue cards. They could be for the 4th, or for something else; like a birthday around the 4th.

Wonderful cards, love the way you did patriotic colors, but they could be send for any occasion.

Great cards Vicki! I had the same thought about not making cards for the 4th of July, but you did a bang up job with the colors! Love it that your inspiration came from people's shirts!

Great cards, Vicki! Love your layouts! Funny about the shirt inspiration - I was in church one week and staring at the lady's shirt in front of me and thinking that the colors would look great on a card! : )
