Playing in Challenges

One thing when you step down from a designing gig, you find more time on your hands.  This is a good thing since I get to play in challenges :).  Don't get me wrong, I am currently pursuing some avenues at this time :), but in the interim I get to use my other stamps.

Today I started with my favorite One Layer Wednesday [which typically] I have missed the last couple of them].  They even have a sponsor this week! [Go Susan!]  The theme; Celebrate Spring. Works for me....  But, you know the saying plans are good -- HA!  By the time this card was completed, I realized it was no longer a one layer card.  So I am entering this into a few other challenges:

The Muse Challenge with this inspiration:

I am also entering this for Papercraft Star; lace and dots, Flutter By Wednesday; anniversary [with a butterfly].
I got to use a Hero Arts image [with die] and a GKD sentiment.

I still wanted to play in the One Layer Wednesday challenge, so I also made this card for that challenge:

For this card I used Dare 2B Artzy Retro Pattern 1.  Celebrates Spring pretty darn fun, huh?

Thanks for stopping by~

Two fabulous cards. I am glad to hear that others also start out to make one thing, and end up making something else.
