Just Us Girls Challenge #179

It's Technique Time over at Just Us Girls Challenge this week, and it is also my challenge.  I chose Use a Negative Die.  I love this look, and it is currently popular in blogland.

I made small pencil marks from the cut out butterfly (Memory Box) and made stripes using my copics for the background.  So many possibilities for backgrounds; ribbon, designer paper, stenciling, just so many! :)

I hope you come over to Just Us Girls Challenge and play along!  You could be the Chick of the Week~

Thanks for stopping by~

Love this "negative die" look. I was always using both the positive and the negative parts of my die-cuts. It just seemed a shame to toss the negative, especially if pattern paper was involved. So, there is a good use for all parts of the die-cut. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card. I just love those rich colors you use. Just makes them so classy.

What a great idea, to use your Copics to create stripes like this. I thought it was a solid line stamp at first!
