DTGD Challenges

My bad, I did not do a good job of supporting my fellow Dirty Girls' challenges, so today I made a couple of cards that combined some challenges.  While I didn't manage to get to all 38 (!) challenges done, I did manage about half.  I'm good with that.

I did want to show you what I made for today

I got my fun Clearly Gina K stamps in and had to show you this fun set - Country Roads.  I also used Pretty Patterns and Grand Tags. While it is so exiting that GKD has gone clear, she also is selling Silhouette cut files to match the sets!  THIS IS AMAZING -- [you all know I really dislike scissors.]  However, I do not have a Silhouette Cameo, I have a Silhouette Bosskut and unfortunately these cut files are not compatible with my cutter.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CONVERT from .studio over to SVG???  I could really use some help with this.  I do not have a clue, and I would really like to be able to use these fabulous cuts [and not my scissors].  OR do you know how to create my own cut files for the images???

Okay, for the 2nd project today, I AM IN LOVE with the way this turned out!  I have always enjoyed the "media" technique's end results.  To be honest, it is a PITB to do -- stamps everywhere, inky fingers, a real messy desk - however, the end result is worth it! [I think]

I love  this!  When I travel, I always take along my notebook and magazines [for inspiration], and writing out sketches etc.  This is my new book.  It just inspires me looking at it!  I am also linking this to The Peaceful Mom -Show and Tell Saturday.
