I have been so busy with DT stuff, I needed to take a break and just play!
I have been wanting to play in Craft a Scene Challenge since they have started! Finally, I took the time to get my card done for their current challenge #4; a silhouette scene. I love making silhouette scenes, so this was really fun for me!
I used the gorgeous GKD stamp set Wild About You. [Theresa really did well with her African animals.] My sketch is from the April Sketch For You To Try over at i{heart}2stamp blog.
Sadly, this is Flutter By Wednesday's last challenge. I have played a few times over the 4 (!) years it has been around. In respect for a long time challenge ending, I decided to join in. The challenge is to CASE Danni's [the creator] first FBW card.
I used the sponging technique again with this card. [I just adore this look!] I used glossy accents on my butterfly from GKD Take Flight. The leaves are Hero Arts.
And last, but not least, I played in the A Blog Named Hero Challenge #2 - with a view. I needed no persuading to pull out my Memory Box window die, [so much fun to use!] and of course my Hero Arts stamps!
I have had this Hero Arts & Sizzix Stamp and diecut set, Chairs and Chandeliers for a few months, and have never used it! [sheesh] I wanted to make this card look like an indoor room with a window view. Did I succeed? Well, for a first attempt, I think I did okay. Not great, but I'll go with it.
My sentiment is from GKD's Home Is. I am mailing this to a gf who recently moved to a new house -- she will appreciate the "view" :).
That's it for my mid week break. I had fun playing in all the above challenges - thanks to all the Hostesses, and thank you for stopping by~

Love the Wild about you design - beautiful warm colours, and such a simple and yet effective layout. Your circle looks to be 3D - how did you do that?
Gorgeous set of cards but really love the orange and black in the first one.....

Wow, this is GORGEOUS! So that is a stamped butterfly first and then you added glossy accents to it? It's gorgeous!! Great "case" on Danni's card. Just an FYI - we have one more challenge next week which will mark FBW's 200th challenge!! We hope you'll join us one last time! Thanks for fluttering with us this week at FBW!
