Gina K Designs Blog Hop - Masculine Card

(scroll down one post for Stampin B's )

Members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop with cards and projects featuring a masculine theme.  If you came from Tina Gilliland's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.

Here is my sample for you:
Unfortunately, I really needed this card.  My DH's cousin was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Hospice has been called in.  My DH wanted us to send him a card, and to be honest it stumped me.  When I said how about thinking of you, DH said perfect.  I used the Elegant Elements GKD set, along with the sentiment from By the Sea.  The smaller solid dots?  Those are from a pencil eraser!  This one layer card is just perfect for my DH's cousin and I was happy to make it.
That's it for us today.  I hope you had fun and were inspired by what you saw!  Thanks for stopping by~

It is a perfect Thinking of You card. I feel so bad about your hubby's cousin but I know he will be cheered to receive this beauty from you. And these types of images are super for working into backgrounds for all types of cards. I can see so many possibilities.

If I were receiving this card and had been diagnosed as DH's cousin has been, I would think of the circles as both love and support, sort of a lifeline, being sent to me. It would really touch my heart.
