Stampin B's 109

This week over at Stampin B's, Faith has challenged us to use flower soft, liquid applique or glitter.  I really cheated and used glittered brads - hey there's glitter! :)  This is a sneak peek of Mark's Finest Papers May set Big Boy Toys.  If you are looking for a masculine stamp set, you will love this one! (Released next Tuesday) This is my first ever watercolor!  I so love the look [of all the artists in blogland] of watercoloring.  Not to bad for a first attempt.  Unfortunately for my red stamp pad, I had forgotten I had glimmer mist in my water brush (!) - shoot.  My red is shimmering at me now.  I am also trying to use my designer paper -- I went and bought 3 (!) more books - I did this why?????????? Oh I know - I'M ADDICTED TO COLLECTING STAMP STUFF~ can you relate? :)
Pop on over to the Stampin B's and join in the challenge~
Thanks for stopping by~

What a great image and your watercoloring looks great. I LOVE to watercolor with a brush, although lately I've taken up Copics. Just put on your shades if the shimmer is too much. LOL

Great use of that truck image. I love the layout on this card. And, yes, I can relate to your buying three more books of DP! I will never use all the DP pads I have even if I never buy another one (which I probably -- no, definitely -- will)!

Wait a minute, Joanne used a glitter pen and you used glitter brads. Why didn't I think of that? I suffered throwing flower soft on my trees which looks like a big clump of a mess. I take challenges too literally. I must make a note of that. Your image is awesome and your watercoloring came out beautiful. Love your panels and, of course, the sparkly brads!

Vicki,.
So glad to see you using this set. I just got the set I won, in the mail today. It is really great. I'm thinking of birthdays for son-in-law, guys from church, Father's day. Beautiful with the water colors.

I have resisted and not purchased any more DP for 1.5 years now. I still have a full long, file cabinet drawer. Will I ever get through it?

What a great card, Vicki! I wouldn't have guessed that this was your first water color project. Love that you "confessed" your mistake with the shimmer on your brush. Helps the rest of us feel better about our own mistakes.

Awesome man card "glitter" and all! lol! Can I ever relate to the "collecting"! I broke down and bought a new paper pad on my trip to Orlando. There is an awesome scrapbook/stamp store there on Orange Blossom Trail. Happy Mothers Day! Hugs!
