This first card is Gina's challenge for Split Negative. I did not emboss the image, but the look is semi the same. I really never have had luck with this technique (could be the embossing I have bad luck with) - I used
Block Greetings and I am happy with the result. Just a little bummed about the 4th NOT straight sewing - the first 3 are pretty good -- ha! A sewer - not so much. I love the look of it on cards though.
Now this second challenge is the window technique. I really have to say I was thrilled with this brayered background. Again, I usually have bad luck with brayering and I go back to my sponges~~~ however, I paid attention to
Gina's video and SURPRISE SURPRISE when you follow the directions it works. lol I used my standard GKD
Tree Silhouettes. I think I have used this set more than any I have purchased from GKD.
