Stampin B's & Stamp TV Sketch
This week on Stampin Bs Vicky Gould has challenged us to make a Halloween card without orange and black. Naturally, purple came to mind. I used MFP stamp set Broom Rides. I also used chocolate chip instead of black for the silhouettes of the bats. I downloaded a picture of skull and bones - I don't do Halloween (except eat the candy) so this will be the last H card you see from me. I really dislike this holiday~~.lol.
This is the sketch I used for Stamp TV. I used this same sketch on my Color Challenge card, I loved it so much, I wanted to share it with the Stamp TV members! I used my favorite GKD set Take Flight with some Tropical Flowers in the background.
I didn't do quite as well with the white gel dots on the butterfly as I wanted, but I love the effect of highlighting the image.

Love the Halloween card Vicki, great colors. What gorgeous pinks on the second one and love the effect of the white gel pen.
I adore the butterfly card, so beautiful, but I have to say I am most impressed by your AMAZING colouring of the sky and moon, would love to know more about your technique for that as it looks fabulous!
gorgeous cards, love the layout!
Fab cards Vicki! I always go to purple for Halloween before any of the other colors. Using brown was ingenious!
The butterfly card is stunning! So pretty and eye catching!
Vicki, you did a super job creating a black-less and orange-less Halloween card for Vicky's challenge. That's one awesome sketch!! Nicely done :)
