CutCardStock Day

One thing I always need is birthday cards.  While I love making them, mailing..well, that's another story.  For today's card I used a lovely combination of colors.

I started with a card base of Saltwater Blue card stock. I used Blue Calico for the framing and inside panel.  The small panel is again Saltwater Blue.  For the foliage, I used Dolphin Gray, and Aqua card stock.

CutCardStock Day

While I am done with Christmas cards, I did have a need for some present tags!  CCS came to the rescue!  Did you see that they carry tags and ribbon?  Yes siree!

Fun, right?!  I started with the Blank White Tags. After embossing, I started to build my tags using the Non-Shedding Silver Glitter card stock and the Red Glitter card stock.  For some added interest, I used the fun Glitter Gem Snowman Stickers.

To adhere everything together, I used the Super Sticky Double Sided Red Tape.  After adding the mini stamped tags, I used the beautiful Polyester Red Satin Ribbon, and the twine [that comes with the tags] to tie the tags all together.  Yep, these will look so fabulous on my red wrapped packages!  I am officially ready for Christmas 2024.

See you next week~

CutCardStock Day

I mailed my Christmas cards out last Monday, so I am done making them for probably 8 months.  On a side note, I did use some of the Easy Peel White Address Labels for my addresses.  Yes, they worked out perfectly!

For today's card, I was inspired by a geometrical art piece photo that I saw on Pinterest.  [I do love me some Pinterest. 😀]

My card base is Textured Indio Blue card stock.  For the panel, I used Bright White card stock, and for the hexagon shapes I used the following card stock; Textured Blue Calico, Basis Blue, Aqua, and lastly, Mirri Sparkle Red Glitter.

The fun sentiment is from my Laura Box.

I'll be back next week~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #273 - BRRRR

I've seen many winter scene cards this year online.  I usually don't make them.  However, when I saw this adorable reindeer, a snowny scene flashed in my mind.

I do love snow globes, and this BRRR little scene worked perfectly inside of it.

Yep, I am rather happy with this cute card.

Your turn.  There are many challenges that take off the month of December.  That said, we hope you take a little time to play along over at Addicted to CAS Challenge #273.  Remember to keep it CAS.

The Male Room Challenge #193 - Anything Goes

Anything Goes is a great challenge for this busy month!  I needed a last minute Christmas card, so I'm going with that.

The snowflake is an older die from Simon Says, and the sentiment is an older Hero Arts sentiment that I embossed with gold.  I so adore the font of this sentiment.

That's it for me.  Your turn.  You have all month to join in over at The Male Room Challenge #193.

CutCardStock Day

The weeks are so flying by! It's Saturday again, and that means it CCS Day for you.

I'm pretty much done with the Christmas cards I need [hopefully] - I mail them out on Monday.  Today will probably be the last of creating for my stash.

For my card, I used the [so fabulous] Holiday Habenaro Red card stock.  I adore how vivid this red is.

I embossed the background, and used the Gold Non-Shedding Glitter card stock and Red Glitter card stock for the fun ornaments.  I used a negative die cut for the sentiment, also in the Gold.

Already then, this is the end of November.  I'll see you next week in December!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #296 - Masculine

Well I have no problem with this challenge!  80% of my cards are for males 😀

Yes, I got on the bandwagon with GKD Die Master 14.   It is rather fun to use.  The leaf images are from Pink Fresh Fall Foliage Stencil.

Leaves and dark colors - yep, that makes for a great masculine card!

Your turn.  Come on over to STB #296 Challenge and join in.  While being a masculine card is optional, being a birthday card is not~

Just Us Girls Challenge #755 - Anything Stencil

I do love this  challenge.  There are so many ways to use a stencil.  We also get a lot of players - that alone is a fun win!

I went with a partial stenciling technique.  I see it a lot, I never seem to do it.  Well, I did today!

After stenciling, I added a fun little mitten and glittery red bow.

The Happy Christmas Reverse Sentiment Strip works with this cute image.

Your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #755 and play along!  Using a stencil is so easy. 😀
