Elizabeth Craft Designs Day

It's another ECD day here on the blog.  Today I am showcasing the Lace, Heart & Doily Die Set.

I also used some tags from the Tag Variety Pack Die Set.  This is an older set, [but a real go-to for making fun layers], along with Everyday Big Words for the Love.

For this 2nd card, I started out with the [so my favorite] Postage, Arches & Kets Die Set postage shape die for the background panel, and then added some fun layers with the Lace, Heart & Doily Die Set.

Yep, I'm early with Valentine's Day, but I like to be prepared 😉.

CutCardStock Day

I am down to the last minute Christmas cards - happens every year to me - I always miss someone.  That said, I'm okay with needing to make more Christmas cards because they are actually being used!

I have mentioned this a few times, but I ADORE this Stardream Red Jupiter card stock.  The color & shimmer totally makes me happy!  The beautiful Bright Foil Gold card stock got a good use with my Christmas cards this season also.  I also used the pretty Green Bonsai card stock.

For a last minute card, I am happy with it!

Instagram Tag Hop

I have said this [probably every time I do a post for those Instagram hops] but I am having so much fun with these hops!  It takes me out of my DT work, and sometimes even stretches me to go outside my regular type cards. Total win!

For this month, I made some actual gift tags.  They will look pretty on my white bags I use for gifts.

I am very happy with these fun, bright tags.

Prize & Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #48

I was lucky enough to win a prize from the Coffee Lovers Hop last month!  I got this [quite] fabulous package from Newton's nook;

I wanted to instantly make a card and made it a Christmas card to be able to enter it into the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #48.  It seemed the perfect opportunity for a first time play in this challenge.

The papers are 2 sided which is awesome as I don't have to try and "match" colors, and by diagonal cutting, gave me a fun layout.

I have to say, I am really quite pleased with this card. [I was even happy with the little Copic coloring I did.]  A win-win - used the prize, and played in a challenge!  Works for me.

Instagram Mini Slimline Card Hop

It's time for the Mini Slimline Card Hop over on Instagram.  I so enjoy this hop!  As much as I love making this size card.

The photographing of this is not great.  You can't tell there is some background stamping, but it is there.  Fortunately, you get the drift with all the focal die cuts.

Yep, I'm happy with this one!

The Male Room Challenge #205 - Christmas Colors Red & Green

I totally love using these traditional colors for my Christmas cards.

I have had this ornament die for years and I use it every year!  I just love it.  Worked perfectly with the digital paper I had in my file too.
