Just Us Girls Challenge #727 - Moodboard Week

I say this every time, but seriously, I love mood boards!  I look forward to this challenge.

I was inspired by the general beachy theme.  I also used my favorite die to create the "beach".  Of course, you can't go wrong with fun mirror sunglasses and some sea shells. 😀

My go-to sea sentiments are from the OOB Inspired By Stamping.  I adore this set!

Your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS #727 and show us how you are inspired!  I can't wait for the gallery this week!

You can have a CAS card with a fun layout!  My flower is from [retired] Mama Elephant, Pretty Lovely.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #283 - Beach Theme

It's my choice for this challenge.  I really do enjoy making beach [birthday] themed cards. 😀

Can't go wrong with fun die cuts!  While I did forget to photograph the inside [I mailed this already!] it does say Happy Birthday on the inside!

Again, the sentiment is from my favorite sea sentiments set.

Your turn!  You can upload your card over at Seize the Birthday. I hope you are inspired to play in my choice of theme for this challenge.

Just Us Girls Challenge #726 - Word Week

The gallery should be really pretty this week.  Because I am a lazy stamper, I went silhouette.  If I have my choice, I prefer not to color.

I started with the oval, sponging on ink, and used a silhouette foliage image for the garden.

I can't remember where the sentiment is from, but it worked.

Your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS #726 challenge and show us your garden!

Just Us Girls Challenge #725 - Color Week

 This s a pretty color combo.  Let's see how I used the colors;

Yep, I made a tag.  I stamped the card stock, cut it apart, and pieced it together.

I shadow cut the sentiment. Now, I have a little gift to include with the card I send out.  Works for me.

Your turn.  Come on over to the JUGS #725 challenge and show us how you use the colors

Mini Album Mania May - June 15

It's time for a MAM post.  To be honest, I found this mini only started [in my stash], so I completed it.

This is the closed photo. It's a real basic album, but I'm okay with that.  I like it.

For the inside I have a couple of pages, and made them both with pockets.  I made a couple of small tags.

I used a circle velcro for the closing of my album.  My papers are from Dare 2B Artsy.

A final view of my finished album.

Your turn!  We hope you come over to Mini Album Mania and join in the fun.

You have until June 15th.

The Male Room Challenge #186 - Trains, Planes or Automobiles

My friend is going on a trip. That said, he needs a luggage tag.  How perfect is this challenge for that!

I used an older Tim Holtz stamp set, The Journey.  It was the perfect set for both the challenge, and the luggage tag!

Your turn!  Come on over to The Male Room Challenge #186, and play along.  The gallery should be fun!

AAA Birthday Challenge #61 - CAS

I do love clean and simple cards!  They don't take much time to create, and they always look good!

I kept the colors in black and white - I do like the effect, and it definitely is CAS. 😀

1 die cut, 1 image, and 1 sentiment - yep, works for me!

Addicted to CAS #257 - Smile

Well I went totally CAS with this one!

For some reason, this cat came to mind when I saw the challenge word.  His smile makes me smile.

I bet the recipient smiles too!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #282 - Off the Edge

Fun challenge for sure.  Because I mail out 99% of my cards, I kept the off-the edge on the inner front portion. [I don't like cutting off to fit in the envelope.]

I blended 3 Distress Oxide inks for the background panel.  On a separate panel I stenciled on the same colors, and then cut out the stars.

I used a sentiment from Woodware Craft, One Liners.

The stars looked a little boring, so I added some glitter to them.

At least in this close up, you can see it.

Okay, your turn.  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While off-the-edge is optional, being a birthday card is not.  Have fun.
