CutCardStock Day

I knew there was a reason why I don't care for regular slimline cards - photographing them is a nightmare!  That said, my cousin gave me some colored legal envelopes and I wanted to use them.  Ha!  I got one used anyway.

Listed below are the card stocks I used to make this card;

While I do like this end result, I will be staying with the mini slimline.

See you next week!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #295 - 1 Focal

What this means is, in your card, for the focal image, use only one stamp and stamp it only once. No more stamping is allowed on the focal image. However, you are free to color it and free to do anything else with the rest of the card.

I went into my "Laura Box" and looked for a floral image.  FOUND ONE! This set is from Pretty Pink Posh, Arch Florals.  [Also available are matching stencils, and dies. It is fun to have them all match.]

I used a colorful background and kept the image black & white.  [I believe I followed the directions 😉]

My sentiment is gold foiled - it doesn't photograph well, but looks fabulous in real life!

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along.  While having 1 focal image is an option, being a birthday is not.

Just Us Girls Challenge #753 - Word Week

I inked up the background embossed panel, added the poinsettias, and the negative cut from the Joy.

It needed something, so I added some gold thread - perfect!  Now, I am happy with this card.

CutCardStock Day

I am back to Christmas cards -- getting done to the wire for mailing them out.

I scored on this 2 part layering cover plate garage sailing!  [I love when I find good products for this hobby].  I used the gorgeous Aqua Card Stock [80#], along with the Basis Blue Card Stock [80#] for the layers.

For some added shininess, I used the Non-Shedding Silver Glitter Card Stock for the sentiment and the inlay of the ornament.  Even though these aren't traditional Christmas colors, I am happy with this card.

See you next week with more CutCardStock products~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #271 - Snow

This is the type of snow I like - cards.

I am just addicted to using my moon stencil.  I absolutely love the end results with it.  I used some botanical silhouette stamps, and a beautiful font sentiment.

I used white acrylic paint for the "snow".  Yep, I'm happy with this card.

Just Us Girls Challenge #752 - Color Week

The perfect colors for yet another Christmas card for the ole stash!

I made myself a new alcohol inked panel with a mix of blue inks and added some gold foiling.  I really love the end result with adding that foiling.

Using some gold mirror paper, I cut out the MC sentiment, and this mini slimline card was complete.  Yep, I am happy with it too.

Your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS #752 Challenge and show us how you use the colors.  So many possibilities!

The Male Room Challenge #192 - Kinetic Card

I'll be honest, I did have to look up what this meant; movement.

I'm still working on Christmas cards and remembered a spinning front panel card.  Perfect!

I used this super fun textured card stock; Bonsai Green from CutCardStock, for my colored base.  It's a lovely Christmas green.

After I hot foiled the geometric background [Pink Fresh Geo Blocks Hot Foil Plate], I used some Silver Glitter card stock for the framing, hanging snowflake, and sentiment.  Another card for my stash!

Your turn.  Come on over to The Male Room Challenge #192.  You have all month to join in.

2024 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop- Day 5

Only 1 card -- time isn't there to catch up.  That said, at least I got one card for the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop today.

A basic card, but it will work for my x customer - turned friend.  They still go to Starbucks about 3 times a week.  This card will totally work.

The die sentiment is another goodie from Laura's Box. 😀

That's it for me today.  I still have lots to do [in my house], and have to get to it!
Hope you had a great day~

Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop - Day 2&3

Even though it is Day 4 over on the CLH Blog, these 2 cards are for my day 2 and 3.  I was crazy busy over the week end, and simply had no time to create.  I made up for it today.  Hopefully, I will get "caught up" tomorrow.

I used a hot foil plate from Laura's Box with some very shiny red foil.  I grabbed a retired coffee cup die, and crimped an actual Starbucks sleeve.

The sentiment is also from Laura's Box. [Yep, I got some fun stuff in her box 😀].

While I was browsing Pinterest, I came across a fun graphic wall decor that inspired me to create it for a card.  (I do love me a good graphic card.)  The cup is from a free download that was offered 2 seasons ago with the CLH.  They come in so handy!

The fun sentiment is from STAMPlorations Coffee Happy.

I had fun today!  Off to do some more commenting....
