January Instagram Embossing Folder Hop

 I have joined in a new to me hop over on Instagram, Embossing Folders.  I love this idea since I have a bunch of embossing folders, and have been getting in to all the different techniques you can do with them!  The theme this month is Love is in the Air.

For my Valentine's Day card, I inked up the ef and ran it through my cutter machine about 2 times re-inking both times.  The trick is to tape down your card stock in the folder so it doesn't move, then re-ink the folder as many times as needed to get the coverage you want.  This is really a fun technique, and I love the end result.

I centered the clustering so as to show off more of the background. Yep, I'm happy with this.

CutCardStock Day

This is the first time that I have made a black card using CCS products!  [Slap me surprised]

I used the following 2 colors of card stock:  Astrobright Black, Bright Foil

While I only used 2 colors, I am rather thrilled with this card!  I adore the gold usage too 😀

I have had this French fry die for at least 3 years and yep, never used it.  I thought this was the perfect die for this challenge.  Easy to keep the card CAS when you only use 1 item, AND, it's such a fun item!

Just Us Girls Challenge #807 - Stencil Week

I do love me an easy challenge!

I grabbed this geometrical stencil from STAMPlorations Broken Glass Stencil.  I went to my Laura's box and pulled out these cups from Concord & 9th Cup of Kindness.  Aren't they fun?!

Nothing beats a good coffee card! 😉

Instagram Patterned Paper Party

It's time for another Instagram Hop.  This time it's all about designer paper that we ALL have a lot of!  That is why I joined in this hop.  Using this paper totally works for me 

I have had this adorable guy for years, and I [to be honest] don't think I have ever used him. (sigh). He worked perfectly for the "chilly" theme of this month's hop.  I even paper pieced his sweater 😀

Instagram January ATC Hop

I made a master background and cut it in half so I was able to get 2 ATC bases.  I went digging and found the white cut outs, and, I colored some ephemera  [STAMPlorations Colorables Doodled Coffee & Tea] from my stash.

I left off any sentiment but will add an appropriate one when I move these on.
