CutCardStock Day

We are onto another month!  [Whoa!]  It's also the first Saturday, so that means it's CCS Day here on my blog.  With all the fabulous colors that CCS carries, I am trying to use a mix [just to show them off] for all of you.  I don't have an affiliate/discount link, however, their prices are seriously amazing! I highly suggest you to check them out.  You will be happy. 😀

For this bright and fun card, I started with [my all time favorite] the Bright White 130# Card stock for the base.  This weight is perfection for a sturdy card base!

For the front panel, I used Habenaro Red, Amaranth, and Granny Smith card stock, along with the Vellum and Aqua card stock for the Hello.

I had fun making this card!  I am so happy that Autumn colors are leaving and I can use my favorite bright and happy colors.   See you next Saturday~

AAA Birthday Challenge #71 - Masculine

So many ideas came to my mind for this challenge.  But, I was kind of inspired by the actual graphic for the challenge!  Alcohol ink!  It's been a minute since I played with that medium - yep, going with it.

I went to my go to colors for the base panel - green and blue.  Oh yes please.  I added some gold foiling - I just adore the look.

I initially tried the HB with the base left over inked panel. Yeah, that didn't work.  I went and made another inked panel in red [for contrast], and cut out the HB.  Since the card needed a little something, I added on 3 gold sequins [using what's in my stash!].  Overall, I am happy with this card.  It will work for a guy card sometime in 2025.

Your turn!  Like I stated before - so many ways to make a masculine card.  Come on over to AAA Birthday Challenge, and show us what you create!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #300 - No Stamping

This was a fun challenge!  It wasn't difficult at all.  Worked for me.

I started by layering a couple of stencils for my background, cut out the fern and sentiment, and adhered both.  Card done.  Sometimes I just adore simple cards 😀

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #300 and play along.  While no stamping is an option, being a birthday is not.  Hope to see you there~

Just Us Girls Challenge #764 - Stencil Week

This week is always fun over at JUGS.  We usually get a lot of participation, and of course awesome eye candy to look at too!

Today I went with an art deco feel.  It started with the stencil, and ended with the sentiment.  It is close to a geometrical feel - both are high on my lists of likes.

I used some Dolphin Gray card stock and inked on Hero Arts Soft Granite with a blending brush.  I die cut out Solar Yellow, Gumdrop Green , and Bonsai Green card stock, using a leaf die from my stash.  Once die cut, I shaded on some ink for depth.

My sentiment is from Poppy Stamps Art Deco Inspiration.  Love the font on this one.

Okay, your turn!  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #764 and play along!  It's Anything Goes using a stencil - easy peasy.

CutCardStock Day

It's the last Saturday of February! What?!! 2 months into 2025 - flyin~by!  For today's CCS card, I once again am using colored card stock for the base.  I really like the end result.

I have some great neighbors, they are so helpful, AND, they deserve a thank you card from us for sure.  I used a graphic background [perfect for a masculine feel], a couple of embossed feathers, and of course a big thanks.

To be honest, this card screams my neighbors!  I am sure they are going to love it!

I'll be back next month with another CutCardStock card!~

It's time for another fun CAS card.  I sure do like making these :).

I went digging in my stamps and found this super cute WOOD stamp!  These stick figures totally make me smile.

I colored him with Copics, cut out the circle and this fun one is almost complete!

I stamped, cut out the sentiment, and adhered it to the card.  Now, this fun one is complete!  So easy.

Just Us Girls Challenge #763 - Mood Board Week

I'm definitely loving this photo - all those stripes, dots, bright colors - yes please!

A cheerful birthday card with a little attached tag gift.  These type of birthday cards work really well for me.  The recipients enjoy them too.

The tag die cut is from Papertrey Ink [retired], along with the candles cut separately from the Cover Plate Birthday Die.  The fun Digi Cupcake is from STAMPlorations. [I love this digi! it's sizable!]

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #763, and show us you are inspired by the mood board!
