CutCardStock Day

Getting ready for V Day!

The time is flying, and I needed to get my Valentine's Day card created for my husband.  Yes, I have a couple of weeks, but I get distracted and then, I miss getting stuff done!  This time, I'm ahead of the holiday. 😀

I glued strips of card stock; Bright White 130#, Grape Jelly, Aqua, Raspberry Ice Pink, and Re-Entry Red, to a small piece of computer paper, and then die cut out a heart shape.

I added a basic sentiment, and my card is complete!  Yay me.

I'll see you in February~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #275 - Center Focus

I'm this challenge's Hostess.  By keeping the focal image centered, it makes it very easy to make a CAS card!

This was the 2nd set of stamps I won over at Lawn Fawn. These tiny sets are just too fun.  This will work for my grandson :).

I hope you come on over to Addicted to CAS #275 and play along.  I am looking forward to seeing the gallery!

Seize the Birthday Challenge #298 - Kraft & Red

Always love this color combo!

There are so many ways to use these colors.  I went for an inspiration photo I found on Pinterest.  I have said in the past, 80% of my cards are for a male.  A graphic card always works for that.

These colors also work great for a guy.

Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge #298.  While the colors are an option, being a birthday card is not.

Just Us Girls Challenge #759 - Anything Goes Stencil Week

It's pretty nice just making a card with a fun stencil!

No techniques, just lay down the stencil, and blend on some ink.  Nice and easy.

What makes it even better, is I like the end result!  That's a win for me.

Your turn.  Come on over to JUGS #759 Challenge, and show us your stencil creation.

Elizabeth Craft Designs Day

And we are back for another ECD Day!  Today I [for me] got rather creative.  Check this out..

Once again, I started out with the Soft Finish Cardstock for my mini slimline card base, and the Harmonious Hodgepodge Paper Collection for my background panel. I wanted solid colors for my butterflies, so I grabbed the Beautiful Bounty Paper Collection, and cut the butterflies using the Everyday Elements Layered Butterfly Die Set.  To add a little creative fun [and stability], I glossy accented the bflies for some shine, and made my own black dots with some ink from my stash.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Look at this fun shine!  Yep, I enjoyed making this card.

See you next Monday~

CutCardStock Day

Yay, it's Saturday again, so you know what that means?  Yep, CCS Day!

I went with a geometrical card.  I do love them, and they work perfectly for a masculine card [which I need].

Because of the big sentiment, [it did cover a lot of the fun shapes], you don't get the full geometrical feel.  However, I still like it.  Okay, here are the colors that I used;

Bright White 130#

Lessbo Amazon Dark Teal

Dolphin Gray

Textured Indio Blue

Black

The added gems are from my stash, and they helped to balance out the card.

See ya next Saturday~

Just Us Girls Challenge #758 - Mood Board Week

I just love mood boards!  The top left corner TOTALLY caught my eye!  I know, most crafters are inspired and make a different card from it.  Me?  I just can't help re-creating.  sigh - what can I say.

I love a bright color against a white card base.  This so works for me!  Very basic, but, I do love it!

Clean and simple at my best 😀

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS #758 and show us how the mood board inspires you!
