Sue V has chosen a new technique for me; Inked Die-Cuts. I watched the video [over at the JUGS blog] and I tried. However, due to lack of use, my pigment inks are so dried out that I couldn't get the coverage that was needed. Therefore, I opted for the back up technique - sponging with the die left on, which gives you a small white frame.
I used some never been inked stamps from My Mind's Eye; Fiddlesticks "Story". Fun images in this set! I used my Cameo to make svg cuts for the flowers.
Okay, I hope give the original technique a try. It does have an awesome effect - check out the JUGS Team's samples!
Thanks for stopping by~

Beautiful card! Love the colors!
I'm a fan of sponging with the die left in place. Glad to see your 'back up' technique.....so pretty!

Beautiful card and your sponged element looks wonderful. The flowers are so pretty.
Love the bright flowers and colour combo!!
Beautiful card, Vicki! I love the turquoise sponging and those bright, beautiful flowers!
I must admit I prefer this way of doing it, and your card is a stunner - great sponging.
If I hadn't gotten a set of Momento pigment inks fro DH, I would have been sponging too. Love your card!!
and it turned out beautiful!!!
This is another favorite way of mine to get faux borders. Your card looks beautiful sponged with the aqua ink and then the stamped, bordered sentiment with the navy. Love those flowers, too.
I haven't seen the video, Vicki, so I'm not sure what you were supposed to do, but I can tell you that what you did do is fun and colorful and gorgeous!! Hugs, Darnell
