I knew there was a reason why I don't care for regular slimline cards - photographing them is a nightmare!  That said, my cousin gave me some colored legal envelopes and I wanted to use them.  Ha!  I got one used anyway.

Red Glitter [4x6 sheets]

While I do like this end result, I will be staying with the mini slimline.

Just us Girls Challenge #748 - Word Week

It is that time of year!  The leaves with the changing colors - so pretty!  I sure wish I had them in my town.  The leaves go from green to ugly brown.  Very sad.

Again, I made an inked panel, and then cut out the leaves with a mixed array of dies.  Now that I look, I probably should of added more of the pretty Fall colors - oh well, this works.

Also again, I don't know who made the hb die.

I got these totally fun dies, and had to use them!  They are perfect for my Grandson's Christmas!

I love this card!

Just Us Girls Challenge #743 - Color Week

Wait until you see what the Guestie & teammates made!  These colors are the bomb.

I went shades of the blue, and got as close to rust as I had.  [I don't use that color.]  That said, I rather like the way the colors came together on this card.

I used Simon Says Abundant Leaves Die [this was in Laura's box!], and an unbranded die [otherwise known as I have no clue who made this 😀]  I just used a circle die and cut it in half using some stashed dp. The sentiment is computer generated.

Just Us Girls challenge #737 - Anything Goes Stencil

I do have to say, this is one of our most popular challenges.  It's so easy!

I found some pretty digital papers in my files, so I printed them off.  Using a stencil and gold embossing paste I covered the paper.  I like that it is transparent.

I used an un-branded Eiffel Tower Die, and grabbed a hb from my album stash.  Complete.  Like I said, easy.

Just Us Girls Challenge #735 - Word Week

I think everyone loves Summer - I know I do, even with the ridiculous heat we get here in Arizona!  So, back to the word - Summertime makes me think of the water, and beach.  That said, I went with the sea version of water.

I've had these fish dies like forever - I am finally using them!  (They are pretty cute.)

I used a Tim Holtz Smaller Leaves die for the "waves", and an image from an older Hero Arts set for the "seaweed".  (Yes, kinda happy with the out of the box uses.)

AAA Birthday Challenge #63 - Flowers

This should be a popular challenge.  I think everyone loves flowers :)

I went old school and grabbed a flower die, cut it out, and then inlaid colorful blooms and leaves.

I added some scoring for interest, along with an angled cut edge - a trend from years ago.

The sentiment is computer generated.

Just Us US Girls #731 - Word Week

I like challenges like this - easy. 😉

I used the retired MFT Balloon Dies to cut out some balloons from an inked vellum panel in my stash.

And, to complete the challenge, I used the Celebrate word die from Skinny Sentiments from STAMPlorations.  Perfect.

I  needed a kids card, and this challenge worked for it!

Stubby pencils!  [I adore these fun dies].  I used different shades of green + pink.  

Add a HB, and my cute kids card is ready to be mailed out!

Color Hues #82 - Tourquoise and Green

I got a reminder e-mail from Color Hues #82, and since I do adore these colors together, I decide to join in the fun. 

I hope it was okay that I used different shades of the colors.  If not, whoops.  I do like my end result though.

I went through my dies, picked out the ones I thought would go together, cut them out in the shades of colors, and adhered them.  I scored the background panel for some texture.

Lastly, I added a birthday sentiment.  Yep, love these colors together, and my card! 😀.

The gallery should be really cute with this challenge!  I went digging through my baby drawer and came up with these adorable dies!  Yep, they totally make me smile.

Seriously, is there anything cuter then baby feet 😁?  I think not.  I looked for these dies, no luck.

The sentiment is from an old Sizzix stamp set, Lori Whitlock.  [It's on Ebay]

Happy Litttle Stampers Water Color Challenge - Happy

It's never a challenge to me when it focuses around a birthday card since that is probably 95% of the cards I make.  That said, here is my card for this challenge;

The majority of my birthday cards also are the masculine feel.  The colors and images will make that happen.  I used and unbranded die [since I don't know who made this], and a soft watercolor wash.

I love this font of the HB - any idea who's this is?  I am still questioning myself on WHY I didn't keep packaging!

Two Fun Challenges

I got a couple of challenges in that once again, spoke to me!  I definitely am drawn to a good color combo, and of course a great mood board!

Color Thrown Down #751 had the colors; aqua, kraft, gold, cream, and Inkspirational #294 had a fabulous mood board!

       

I used an unbranded die for the tower and just a circle die for the circles.  

The sentiment is from Simon Says Clean Line Everyday.  I'm loving these colors together, and this fun CAS card.
