I got the Paper Players #694 challenge in, and the timing [unfortunately] was rather perfect. My friend's mom recently passed away, and I needed a sympathy card, quickly. Hence the challenge - CAS with sympathy is what I needed.
I used an older cloud template from MFT, and a silhouette floral image. Both worked perfectly for a lovely sympathy card.
My friend appreciated the card. My heart hurts for her - her mom was her best friend. 💓
Thanks Paper Players - your timing was perfect.

This next one is off the wall for me! The Scrapbooker Magazine is sponsoring a (2) $500 Winner prize for creations made with Tim Holtz products. I made this tag using his distress inks. I did try to upload it, but did not have success. I still thought I would share with you all.
Miscellaneous products were used - not all Tim Holtz - but I loved this end result. It's just so Summer!

I'm sorry that our challenge turned out to be a timely one for you Vicki, however you created the most beautiful CAS card as a result. The black border highlights the silhouette perfectly and the stencilling is gorgeous. Love that fun tag too! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Your card and tag are both so well done and designed. Absolutely awesome projects!
A perfect CAS card for a Sympathy card, and a FUN tag for summer! Love both, Vicki, but so sorry you needed the card
You sympathy card is gorgeous! Love the silhouette and sorry that you needed to use it at all. Wow, your tag is amazing! What a fun design!
Vicki, I have no doubt that your friend appreciated this beautiful card - and your friendship during such a difficult time.
Now, you better go try again with that link... I spy a WWCD with your fun tag!!

Your sympathy card is just stunning. The shading behind the silhouette flowers is just perfect for such an occasion. Very nicely done! And the flip flop tag is adorable! So cute! Maybe you could try to upload it again! Thanks so much for participating in my CAS challenge this week at the Players!
Vicki... great sympathy card. I hope it is for your stash and no one close. Great to see you at The Paper Players.
This is so elegant with the black. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players.
Wow, two beautiful projects. So sorry to hear about your friend's mother. It's so hard. But your card is absolutely gorgeous. And if I were on the voting board for the challenge using Tim's products, I'd hands-down vote for your tag! What a fun creation!
