Simply Stamps Day

I needed a project, and since my Simply Stamps stamp came to mind, I decided to share it with you today. :)

My sister has officially retired.  THAT is crazy [where did all those years go?] - Anyway, I flew up to Seattle last week to surprise her at her work retirement party. [Yep, she was totally surprised :)]  Because of the day, I was able to spend the week end with her too.  It was very fun.

Knowing that she would need thank you cards,  I made her a set.  Here is the finished project:

Again, very basic, but sometimes that is all you need~

I started by folding my card bases, cutting my designer paper to size, and cutting strips.

I adhered the papers to the base, along with the strip, and using my MISTI, I stamped all the cards with the Thank You stamp from Simply Stamps.

The advantage of this stamp, is the stamp image peels off easily to be able to use it in my MISTI.

10 minutes later, my card project was completed and ready for my trip.

I do enjoy making projects like this.  Do you ever make sets of cards for gifts?

Thanks for stopping by~
