Just Us Girls #344 - Trend Week

I love using vellum on my cards.  For today I used Jennifer McGuire's Vellum Overlay Card directions from her video. [What would we do without this girl!]

This is a fun end result card. (However, I do need to warn you, DO NOT try to apply embossing powder when you have a fan blowing in your space...)   I used the newly released CAS-ual Friday's stamp set, Pretty Posies.

How do you use vellum?  Did you take the On-line Class using this product?  Show us your stuff over on the Just Us Girls blog!  We would love to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by~

Gorgeous take on Jennifer's video. I, too, made a card after I watched her. It was great fun. I love your focal choice, and it's beautifully colored. I also love the gold greeting.....really adds to the richness of the card!

I love the soft look you achieved here- so pretty! I agree, fans and embossing powder do not work well together! Hahaha

Love your card Vicki, that new flower looks brilliant used with the vellum. And of course the perfect colour to show up under vellum.

so tell us was there much mess after using the embossing powder and a fan. Good mix that is :). Obviously you have the right vellum, my attempts just curled down to the bench top, apparently we cant get the same vellum here. Would help if there was a paper weight on them.
