More Challenges

Ah the challenges in blogland have been motivating me!  That's so fun :).

Starting with Simon Says Wednesday Challenge; have a heart.  This went along with the Fusion Challenge; paper hearts, where I used both the inspiration and sketch.

I just loved the look of the inspiration hearts.  I wanted to try my sponge blending and this was the perfect opportunity.  I love distress inks; #1 they blend amazing, and #2 they splot with water wonderfully.

I went on to be challenged by the Time Out Challenge #49; Love is the flower, and Hero Arts Monthly Challenge; fabulous flowers.  Because I used text on my background, with my 3 layered technique, I am also entering this in the Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge; text.

I purchased a bunch of Hero Arts Wood Flower Stamps awhile back.  While I really don't care for wooden based stamps [anymore], these worked perfectly for inking up the stamps. spritzing them with water, and stamping.  I love this effect, and this is the closest I will get to water coloring. :)

I do love productive days!  Thanks challenges~

Thanks for stopping by~

Stunningly vibrant colours Vicki! I LOVE the way those colourful hearts pop against all that scrummy white and it is a fantastic take on the inspiration piece. The 'watercolour' piece is also beautiful and reminds me of those paintings by the French Impressionist artists! Have a lovely Sunday! Hazel xx
