Playing in More Challenges

I took more time to create a couple of cards for a few challenges today.  I really do have to say I am having a great time on my sabbatical creating as much as I want! :)

I started by joining in over at Freshly Made Sketches #165, CASology #124; Old and Virginia's December Challenge; All Things Distressed

This is an actual photo of a relative of mine.  My sister sent me an envelope filled with old photos - unfortunately, we have absolutely no idea who they are, but this one worked out perfectly for "old".  And, old goes perfectly with distressing, and also the fun sketch from FMS.  I used Inspired By Stamping, Background III, along with a sentiment from my newest Hero Arts, Happy Birthday Messages.
December's Theme: All Things Distressed

I also went on to play in at The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #7 - Tic Tac Toe.  I went with the middle row; Tape, Glitter, Stamps.  However, I also used a stencil and die - Cat's Game maybe? :)

I used glitter tape and a die from Crafty Cutts [happy] and MFT [Falling Leaves].  My circles are from a self made stencil.

That's it for me today!  I hope you had a crafty week end.

Thanks for stopping by~ If you have a question, please leave an email so I can answer you :)

You are so amazingly good at changing courses in card styles. I love the vintage designed one you did but equally love the bright and cheery looking birthday card too. Both are wonderful!

Vicki, nothing says old like an old vintage photo! (I love getting pictures like that of relatives, even if I'm unsure of who they are.) I love the vintage colors you paired it with, too. Thanks for joining us at CASology!

That old-timers photo card is SO cool, Vicki! I hope you used a copy of the pic, so you can keep the original to use over and over again. Or maybe you'll figure out someday who those folks are! LOL
