SCS Color Challenge #CC485

This week, Peggy chose Navy, Sand and Honey, with a dessert of texture.  I don't have Honey yet, so I improvised.

The sketch screamed for Heartfelt Creations Posy Patch Flowers [and dies] and a few leaves from Elegant Single Leaves, which I watercolored.  I used regular card stock and the end result is a much more solid and vivid color.  My sentiment is Inspired By Stamping, Vintage Roses.

I used the sketch from Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #157

Come on over to the  SCS Color Challenge and play along!  We would love to see your card.

Thanks for stopping by~

Ooh , royal and gold are the colors of my grade school, so I stared at your card for quite a while-so pretty, Vicki.

Beautiful, Vicki!! Fantastic royal blue ribbon and frame for your sentiment panel!!! I absolutely love how you have done your sentiment with the added paint to give it such lovely dimension!! I love the look of the watercolour on the regular cs - the flowers look lovely!!!
I really have to make a plan to get myself some watercolours to work with, as it is so popular nowadays and it looks so beautiful. Don't know anything about paints, though, but I'm sure I'll find all the needed help on the internet and maybe I can also do some watercoloured cards!!
