Moxie Fab - Creative Storage

Moxie Fab is running a creative storage segment.  It's not a challenge, as much as sharing some hints for your storage and sharing ideas.  I love this idea since, I don't know about you, but my stamp room is over flowing with stuff, and I am always looking for "improved" storage ideas.

Today I am sharing a couple of ideas that I use to store some of my inks.  Nothing is "original" - I found these ideas in blogland [somewhere...]

These are my copics.  I had DH cut outside drain pipes.  I used double sided tape to adhere the sides together, and taped card stock to the back so they wouldn't push through. The markers on the top are the ones I need to a. replace or b. buy refills.  Know of any good prices for copics out there?  As you can see, I "need" a few.

I had every intention of painting the holders, but I was in such a hurry to utilize this system, I never got around to it.  This sits right on my desk, in front of my work space.  I adore this system!

I also wanted to share my storage of dies.
Yep, the trusty cd cases with magnetic sheets.  I found the cd holders on a clearance table for $2 at Office Max! [Can you say cha ching] I used my computer and cd labels to label the cases.  I love it that I still have room to "flip"  As you can tell, my labels could use a little refreshing, but this system works fabulous for me.

I made 2 books for my MFT dies, which works okay, but really, flipping through the pages is a PITB.  I need to set up another type of system, but have yet to figure out what.  So, in the meantime this works.

My die storage systems work really well with my "die cut area"
(Yeah, I know, the sheet is rather tacky, but it protects the top of the dresser.)

Well, as usual, I read the post wrong, it is suppose to be your work space area.  Sheez - so I am throwing in these photos of "my space" EDITED: Nope I did read it right - OMG.
So, do you have great storage ideas?  Upload over at Moxie Fab.  I can't wait to see the ideas.

That's it for my useful storage ideas [and space].  Do you have any that work for you?  If you do, leave me a comment [and link if possible] - I think I will have a prize for the idea I pick to use!  Interested?
Brand new, unopened [duplicate] Spellbinders Large Labels.  Send me those ideas!

Thanks for stopping by~

You've got some serious STUFF in there! I pinched Jennifer Maguire's idea of CD wallets, card insert, and for the nesting dies, a strip of double sided tape across the centre of the card inset to hold them all in place.

I am blessed to have two closets in my office. I have 2 heavy duty utility carts (three shelved ones) that work wonderfully for holding lots of stuff and I can roll them into the closets when done.

I am planning on using the system that Michelle Joy has posted on YouTube to store my Spellbinders dies. The link is below.

I bought magnetic vent covers at the hardware store and used double sided tape to mount to the inside of my cabinet doors. They are perfect for my Spellbinders dies. If you only have wall space, attach the magnetic sheets to the wall so you can stick your dies up there.

I have a similiar system for my Copics, but instead of the drainpipes I've used Crystal Light containers, they are a perfect fit and if I need to transport them, I've saved the lids. I can stack them because they have a flat side and I've toyed with the idea of adhering them but I can easily move them if I'm working with one color family. At this point I need about 3-4 per color family, but my collection is growing. I've added my space at the Linky Party!

Wow - fabulous storage ideas for alllll your wonderful goodies. You'd laugh if you saw my 'working' space: the corner of the kitchen counter! My 'stuff space' is pretty small, too - a little bookshelf, where I store my goodies in plastic containers. My organization is rather odd, but it works for me: stamps/dies arranged by company (in my little containers), then alphabetically. The ones I use most often are in a basket in front of my my postage stamp-sized crafting zone. Yes, yes, a touch of OCD happening...

Great organization. My dh cut PVC pipe and the pieces are in a large Snapware container. There are 32 tubes and you can close the lid. I buy copics and refills from Oazak.com and refills are $5.89.
