MFT Color Challenge & PTI Color Challenge

I was watching a few videos over at My Favorite Things and decided to play in the Color Challenge #5 going on.

This card is completely made with MFT products.  I started with Blueprints 1, followed the sketch in the data base, watched a video using a quill pen [so.much.easier.] to roll the flowers; Mini Rolled Roses and Rolled Flower , and used a sentiment from Grand Greetings. Go me!

Print

The prize is a $20 gift certificate to MFT -- yeah, I can use that!!  Wish me luck~

I also at the last minute decided to join in with Papertrey's Color Challenge - Melon and Aqua.

A quick 10 minute card using Turning a New Leaf embossed die, and Background Basic Text.  Throw on some sequins  and hopefully I made the deadline...

Thanks for stopping by~

Both cards are beauties, Vicki! I love the super clean and layered look of the first and the artsy background and sequins on the second! If cards were food, I'd be eating yours every day 'cause they're always looking so delicious LOL!

Love both these cards, Vicki!! There is such a lot to smaller detail to appreciate on the first card and I love that the sentiment is so prominent in the centre. Lovely little roses!! (I need to go shopping at MFT again!!)
The second card is stunning!! Love the script on the bg and the lovely leaf. The colours on both cards are beautiful!!!
