Just Us Girls #240 & Addicted to CAS #38

Today I have over lapping DT posts.

For Just Us Girl's #240 - It's technique week - Sue V has chosen the Kissing Technique.  It is an oldie. but a goodie.  Ink up your image [solid works the best], and using another stamp you stamp on top of the first inked image, and then stamp onto paper.

I went digging in my stamps from past and came up with a Posh Impression, Sketch of My Heart, and my sentiment is Happy Anniversary [also Posh Impressions]. My swirl is from Stampin Up.  I love the font of this, which qualifies over at Moxie Fab World; Hip on Hand Writing and also Time Out Challenge #5; Time Flies, Love Lasts.

Addicted to CAS #38 this week is super fun - off the edge.
We are being sponsored by

Again, I grabbed some older stamps [Hero Arts, Leaves] and a sentiment from Stampendous, Everyday Greetings.

I am rather happy with both these one layer cards.  Sometimes, that is all you need.

Come on over and play in both challenges -- combine both qualifiers.

Thanks for stopping by~

You make the best one layer cards. I just adore both of them. I love digging out some of the oldies to stamp with. I am doing that more and more it seems. And, thanks for the reminder of the Kissing technique. I had not done that for years.

You are the consummate card artist, Vicki, able to make equally genius cards in one-layer and multi-layer formats AND overlap your DT duties! These are, as always, fantastic! Thank you for letting me play with you at ATCAS! Hugs, Darnell

I have that heart stamp, but I'm not sure whether I have that sentiment or not. It's been awhile since I've looked at my Posh stamps. I've been collecting cards using Posh stamps for my new board on Pinterest and I just think I have to Pin yours. Easy, quick, and looks oh so chic! A girlfriend, Verna Angerhofer, directed me towards your blog and I'm so glad she did! Have a great day!

Vicki, your cards prove that one layer can be fabulous. The leaves stamped off the page with a monochromatic color scheme are fabulous! Perfection
