Saturday Challenges

I took some more time this morning to play in a few more challenges.

I am joining in with Connie & Mary Create #298.  My SU stamps were feeling extremely neglected and needed some ink ;).  I used the fun sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #131.

CCMC298
I used 3 different sets for my card; Lots of Thoughts, Painted Garden and Best Blossoms.  I am not even going to look to link these sets since I am sure they are all retired.  One thing about SU images, retired or not, they are amazing stamps and I just can't bring myself to sell them!

I also am joining in over at SCS Inspiration challenge.  It has been forever since I played in this challenge!  I needed an 80th birthday card and found this photo.  Perfect, very celebratory!
Everything Matters!

I used the Hero Arts, Brush Strokes along with Zing Teal & Aqua embossing powder.  I adore the vivid colors of this powder.  I misted with Mister Huey's Opaque White color mist.  My numbers are PTI By the Number.  I think my girlfriend's husband will like this.

That's all for me today.  Have a great week end.  See you Monday!

Thanks for stopping by~

Your cards really pop. I love the festive colors. The design of the second is particularly a standout. The fireworks effect is delightful.

Great job with the color combo for Create with Connie and Mary this week! I like how you have the flowers gently "falling" down the edge of your card. I also really like the rhinestone centers.
