Lots of Challenges

I'm addicted - plain and simple. I adore this hobby and I absolutely can.not stop stamping! :)

I went crazy last pm and stamped till midnight -- today I am entering my cards into some challenges that inspired me;

Simon Says Wednesday - CAS card

Once again, I followed a Jennifer McGuire's technique; glittered die cut .  I used Memory Box Twirled Heart and glitter - the sentiment is from Hero Arts, Holiday Sayings.

I made a second card to finally use my new Hero Arts set; Love Jar.  I have had this set for weeks and finally opened it and used it!

A while back I won a package of goodies from Simon Says.  I love that I was able to use all these images - definitely inspired by the CASE card!

Time Out Challenge; CASE Virginia Lu

While the Team CASE'd a particular card, I popped over to Flickr and looked at Virgina's amazing gallery.  This card really inspired me;

I broke down and purchased [like a lot of stuff] from Papertrey Ink.  I love these fun circle flowers from Circle Scribbles along with the die tag. I really like the $5 stamps PTI offers.  I feel I am actually getting fun images/sentiments at an awesome price.  The Wonderful Words, Birthday and birthday die are a prime example of this.

I water colored the flowers [Virginia is big on water coloring] and I love the glassine bag idea to hold the tag.  I tried her tutorial from her card, but I couldn't get it to work - I still used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, Alcohol Blending Solution and I pounced on the colors - I am happy with the end result.
This was a super fun challenge - thanks girls, and thanks Virginia for having a fabulous gallery to CASE.

Well, never mind - apparently we were to CASE that particular card. Shoot.  Oh well I'm staying with my CASE - I like it.

Fusion Card Challenge; super fun chevrons!

I went with both the sketch and inspiration using MFT Chevron dies, along with STAMPlorations May release, Thank You. I am literal at times, but ya know, sometimes it just works!

Thanks for hanging in there with me today - I know overwhelming, but I do like to share with all of you, [along with playing in the challenges of course] ;)

Thanks for stopping by~

Wow you are a busy girl Vicki! One common thread is your cards all have a punch of color. I love the CAS glittery hearts, that amazing mason jar with all the layers of stamping, the fun collage look of the balloon, watercolor looking tag, and bright striped chevrons. You've got great style!
