Just Us Girls #231 - Technique

Sharyn has a fun technique - weathered wood background.  She has a video showing how to.  I kind of winged mine.

I covered my panel with direct to paper gray ink pad, covered it with embossing paste, and then ran it through my Big Shot with a wood embossing folder.  Looks like weathered wood to me.  I used my new stamp set [and dies] from My Favorite Things, Party Balloons.  I am entering this into Colour Me #10

Does this technique interest you?  Well, come on over to Just Us Girls and play along!  We would love to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by~

I love the color combo. The green against the gray is gorgeous Vicki.

I really love this! The wood background looks amazing and those balloons tied with the string and the big happy birthday add a touch of whimsy.
