A Couple of Sketches

For my Dare 2B Artzy Friday, I joined in a couple of sketch challenges.

Freshly Made Sketches #106

I do have to say between these colors and this sketch, I am loving this card!  So simple, but it's got punch.  I used D2BA set, Thinking of You.  I have fun partially coloring in the letters in this set.  Again, this entire card works for me!

Seize the Sketch #5

Don't colors just make a card?  I mean really, you can have a fabulous
sketch, but use the wrong colors, and yuk-o. Don't get me wrong, I do like this card, [I was just throwing out an AHA thought.]  The colors I used make this a more masculine card - which, in turn will be sent to my son.  I used the D2BA set, Live Life.

But, back to my question - have you ever put together a card and said "nope - not liking these colors together" HA! Happens to me all the time - I am so colored challenged.

Thanks for stopping by~

Nice cards. I really like how you partially filled in the Thanks with the red and I like the placement of the dots. Such a fun bold card.

Your thank you card really does pack a punch! I love cards made with black and white and a pop of colour - always a winner :)

I am loving the live life card too though - those colours are stunning! I would suggest that you are not 'colour challenged' at all!! ;)

I don't think that you're color challenged at all! Both of your cards pack some BAM. I love colors and I love it when people design with them. Your take on the sketch is awesome....love the multiple layers and the polkas/circles.

Thanks so much for joining us at Seize the Sketch!

I LOVE both your cards Vicki. I love how you can make CAS cards with colored CS's. I need to try that more. TFS and always inspiring :-)
