Challenges for Wednesday

I did no stamping yesterday! Can you say withdrawal? :)

Today, I was totally inspired by Colour Q 203 - just my type of combo.

I layered my background with spray mists, and then stamped the images with Espresso Truffle, it looks black unfortunately, but it is Espresso.  I used GKD Warm With Love stamp set.

My other challenge for the day is one I haven't played in it seems forever!  The One Layer Wednesday Challenge. This week is so easy I just had to join in the fun!  One image, one sentiment, 1 color. I used my image more than once [it didn't say stamped once] - hopefully this works :)  I am also entering this into Paper Players; a one layer card.

I used one of my favorite Hero Arts sets, Poetic Prints [retired], and a sentiment from HA Treasure the Moment.  The one color ink sort of makes an elegant card~ I like that.

Okay, I am off to shop.  I need a couple of Tim Holtz goodies [40% off baby!] - a scrubbie hopefully, and another worksheet mat.  I had cut my origianal mat when I got it 2 years ago.  However, with the art media I have been doing lately, I need the full sheet -- I have ink everywhere on my desk [and supplies unfortunately]!  I do love the mat -- nothing sticks or stains it -- it all just wipes off.

Thanks for stopping by~

You make me laugh - I didn't find it easy at all, although I ended up with something I'm really happy with! Love the richness of your card!

What a beautifully vibrant creation for the ColorQ. Wow!!! Love it.
The CAS is so pretty, too. My craft table is such a mess that I can never work on my mat, just a tiny space that isn't loaded with other items. Go figure.

I usually get a little more complicated when I make cards, but I LOVE the clean and simples lines of your card, and the colour is lovely.
