Playing on Sunday

I took some time today to play in a few challenges.  I so need to be doing other things - like cleaning for instance~ :)

There is an old "new" challenge out there starting today.  Jen, over at Reverse Confetti, is starting up her Sketch For You To Try. I am so glad she isn't requiring her stamps....yet.  [I don't have any quite yet] -- there is a chance of winning the July entire release!  Now that would give me some images to play in her challenges with~

Meanwhile, I did use some [getting dusty] Verve images from Bloom & Grow.
I also flipped the sketch.  Add my take in :).

I am also playing in the Fusion challenge today, and once again, I "fused" both challenges.  I am also entering this in Paper Players; Summer Holiday.

Talk about using dusty stamps!  This umbrella is from Clear Dollar Stamps, Blooming with Blessings.  [So old, it is retired] My sentiment is from Mike's $1 stamps from Studio G. I checked out the Paper Players Team cards, and it was more of a summertime card.  Well, in Arizona, we are coming into our monsoon season of rain. Therefore, I used the effect of sprinkling water and letting it dry to look  like rain.

And my last challenge for the day is for A Blog Named Hero; a masculine card.

Now, I realize that I could of used something manly - tools, golf, sports, but since my son has gotten out of boot camp [where I heard from him daily] and is now stationed in Florida, I never hear from him.  This card is a subtle, gentle reminder, that yes, mom does like to hear from him too. :)  I used [one of] my favorite Hero Arts sets, Just Saying Hi.

I had another fun day -- thanks everyone I appreciate the challenges!

Thanks for stopping by~

Wow times three! I love each one of these, Vicki, with my fave being the umbrella card. Love the dark, cloudy skies above the umbrella and blue ones below. Looks like a winner to me!

I always think it's a good idea to keep masculine cards simple. For fairly obvious reasons! lol! Love the clean design of your phone card! Thanks for playing with us at A Blog Named Hero!
