Moxie Challenges and PFP Background

I am joining in a couple of inspiring Moxie Fab Challenges.  The first one that caught my eye was GIFT TAGS.  I love making tags- especially when I have a bag to go with it.

Fun isn't it?  I know, my "you" isn't quite there, but I still love this little thing!
I used the Dare 2B Artzy You stamp set.  [Have I mentioned how much I love this set? ;)]

This is a small, 5x6 glassine bag that I stamped with an ombre chevron pattern to match the blue on the tag. See that tag holder?  Fellow stamper, Laurie Willison, from Soap Box Creations, created and sells this fun bag tag die. [She also has a video of the different ways to use it]
This will hold a nice set of cards for a gift.

I am also playing in Moxie Fab's Water Coloring. I watched a video by Shari Carrol, over at Hero Arts on water coloring the other day and wanted to try it.  While she used HA images, the technique worked for my card too.  I am using Papertrey images, since I am also entering this into A Passion for Papertrey; stamp your own background, and they want PTI products.  I don't have a problem using PTI stamps -- in fact I adore these stamps! :)

I inked up PTI Polka Dots Basics II with TH Distress ink Faded Jeans and spritz [heavily] with water -- dripping actually.  Then I stamped it on to water color paper.  [I love this effect].  I added Harvest Berries [with die] and the sentiment, and this card was done.

That's it for the challenges today. See you tomorrow for more May Releases from Inspired By Stamping.

Thanks for stopping by~
