Playing on Sunday

I am trying to send my son a letter/ card about every three days while he is in Navy boot camp.  A good way to encourage him along.

I found [thanks Karen] this program called Tagxedo.  It's pretty awesome - put in the words you want to "art graphic" and it does it!  After a little placement, I made my "centered" one layer card for the challenge over at One Layer Wednesday.  I realize it is not stamped, but I love the outcome anyway!

I think this is a pretty good encouraging card, and hopefully my son will appreciate it.

Thanks for stopping by~

Awesome, cool card!! Whoops, just used most of the words on the card! Intentionally, to be funny...but, this is so great. What a really great idea, and so different. I am sure he will love it. What a nice Mom, to do this for your son. Whenever someone I care about is sick or has surgery, I always send a card about every 3 days....it is the most talked about, and must fun thing to do. The recipient is so delighted, and I have fun making the cards, and chuckling to myself as yet another is popped into the mail. I love unexpected little "gifts", whatever form they come in. I really like to give little things, hand-made stuff is always appreciated by my peeps. So, I understand YOUR gesture for a beloved son. BTW, Good Luck to the new soldier!

Awesome card, Vicki! My husband is an Air Force vet. We have a soft spot for all of our military. Good luck to him, and we wish him well.

This is awesome Vicki. Thank you so much for sharing this software with us. I have twin nephews who are in the Navy ROTC at UVA and I've been struggling with a background for them. This is going to be perfect! Your card is really cool and your son is going to love it!

oh how cool Vicki!! Off to check out Tagxedo!

My best wishes to your son in boot camp! He will NEVER be so fit again in his life! My son was in Army boot came 19 long years ago now - but I remember visiting him there when he 'graduated' like it was yesterday!
