A Few Challenges

Having a play day with some of the challenges out there in blogland.

I started with this fun sketch from over at Clean and Simple;

I instantly thought of washi tape.  I am really having a great time with this fun product.

I used the newly released Warm Woolen Mittens from Gina K Designs.  A fun set, with a fun sentiment to match.  My washi tape is from Target!  Love this stuff, and the price is so affordable!  [It is called paper tape and can be found in the stationary department.]

I also joined in The Kraft Journal - Clean and Simple.  I'm not sure this really qualifies as CAS, but it didn't take anything to make it, so  I'm going for it!

It started with this from Pinterest

I just love these type of flowers.  These were so easy -
cut out book page - 5"x 4' - cut in half
fan fold at 1/2 inch - tie both sides together - glue

Add embellies

I used kraft as my bg paper  -- and used Pretty Patterns for my stamped bg, along with the HB from Birthday Greetings both from Gina K Designs.

Here is a close up of the embellies on the fan fold flower.  [The photo of the card is way to dark for some reason]
While this is washed out, at least you can see what the images are.  I die cut leaves with designer paper, and punched out butterflies from My Favorite Things Die-namics Butterflies.  A very easy card, that I really love!

Thanks for stopping by~

Great Washi tape find :) Darling mittens and use of the sketch. Fabulous medallion on the second card. Love the BG - don't think I would ever be brae enough to use it but you made it sing.
