Challenges for Wednesday

My favorite challenge - One Layer Wednesday this week is Autumn, hosted by Cheryl and EDITED to included Less is More - One layer Foliage card. (Shoot I almost missed this fun challenge!)

I have been seeing color blocking over the last few days and  I forgot how much I enjoy using blocks.  I went to my Stampin Up Sweet Shapes for the block, and used leaves from Hero Arts, Real Leaves.  Great challenge Cheryl~ Thanks!

Simon Says is running a new challenge this week - trends. Who doesn't love trends!  I know I do~

I used my die cuts from MFT - chevrons, hexagons, fishtail banners and MC from Hero Arts Holiday Sayings.

I get my staples removed today!  I am a happy camper -- tired of my stomach hurting from these pesty things!  Sure hope it doesn't hurt to have them removed...  I'm not into pain.... :)

Thanks for stopping by~

Love the depth and the extra stamped shapes in your sponging for OLW and that mod Christmas card is so cool - love the random placement of the bling!

Both cards are super, but I really like the first one. The little squares really do add depth to the panel!

I love both of these Vicki! The geometric Christmas card is fabulous but I'm absolutely fascinated by the block background on your foliage card!
