Some SCS Miscellaneous Challenges

I saw the Inspiration Challenge this am over at SCS - I saw this and had to join in

LOL - so simple, and packs such a punch! It just makes me smile! A coffee cup inspiration - perfect for me! :)

This next card is for the Christmas Card Challenge with SCS - a Winter Cottage. I have been wanting to try making one of these doors with a wreath. [ I hope it looks like a door] - the wreath is real big. I know it is only "semi" Christmas, but I'm still going with it. A Merry Christmas sentiment inside will make it official :)

Thanks to Kittie's awesome tutorial, I was able to finally get this card done. I will say this card took me about 2 hours! Wow - I will not be making any more of these. More power to Kittie who does 99% of her cards like this!

And last but not least my One Layer Wednesday challenge card - masculine.   I basically CASED this card I saw today by fellow stamper Karen.  I used direct to paper (she did water spritzing) I changed the colors and went with a one layer card - though I like the subtle black frame better, I wouldn't of been able to use this over at OLW challenge.

I used Flourishes Forest of Trees, along with a sentiment from GKD Enjoy the Journey.  On a side note Gina K Designs has gone Clearly Gina K!  Yep, that's right, you now have your choice of the deeply edged red rubber stamps, OR the new Premium Photopolymer clear stamps!  Can I just say Heaven, I am in Heaven!  I love clear stamps!! :)

That is it for me today.  Another productive day stamping.  Come back on Monday for day 2 of the GKD DT Inspiration Hop.  You could be a winner~ :)

Thanks for stopping by~

Vicki, your wreath is gorgeous and your door does look like a door. I promise it goes much faster after you make your first project.

All three cards are so appealing. I love the 'in your face' simplicity of 'You Rock', all the pretty detail of the wreath on the door and of course the fabulous trees and colour blocking on the last one layer card.

You rock!

Awesome as usual Vicki! I stopped by to see your "Dude" Card, then fell in love with the simplicity of your "You Rock" card! Wow... And I can't forget your darling door/wreath card. Well worth the time it took you.

Glad you joined the OLW challenge last week. Couldn't believe you were not one of the first few cards linked! LOL!
